all about photos

1. I forgot I had some photos from that 50s café we went to last week. The little sign says "reserved for the men 8,30 -11" :) There is a group of middleaged men that come here every morning how cool is that!

2. I have updated my etsy shop with a sheet of labels. Go check it out! I just had a new order! yay me!

3. I got some cool shots of the dogs playing and laying in the fall leaves yesterday. They loved to play with me! I especially love that Harry layed on his back and really loved life!

4. I went over to Alis blog today and if you haven´t been there yet, today is the day to go. She has this awesome post of her creative area and I love looking at it! And speaking of Ali I saw that she is the guest designer for Pencil Lines right now. I acctually took some inspiration from the sketch and made this.

5. And this next layout didn´t turn out at all what i had planned. But it is all good because I still like it. I acctually did some journaling on the back of the layout. I am all for long and extensive journaling, but sometimes I am not feeling it on the layout.

6. From the Love,Elsie flickr group this is my favorite right now... What a great Christmas gift idea!

7. The weather has been so good the last days. But coldish today although all the sunshine makes up for anything! I love fall but it does get a little dark in the nights already. That is why we need so much sunshine during the days.

8. I am having a good time reading through the fall issue of Scrapbooks etc. and as usual I love every minute of it. That is by far my fave magazine in the scrapbooking field. Although I love Simple Scrapbooks magazine too, but I can´t get it in Sweden. :( It is good that they both have websites too!

9. I finally figured out how to use the "daily something" brush from said Ali.

10. Ok that it is it for today!

sunday

we got a little crazy last night and decided that I needed to change spaces for my studio. :) and *sigh* :) = I love redecorating! *sigh* = all the work! Before I had my work place in the back of the garage which took me out of the house really. I had no view over what was going on inside and as I like to "play" almost all the time I thought it would be a good idea to move back into the house. So, we decided to switch rooms and put the guest room out there and my room just in the heart of the house.

And then to the fun! I am happy that you wanted to play with me. As i have gotten atleast one email begging me to give them more time I will! You will get the whole day (sunday) to join and I will hold on to choose a winner until monday. Ok?!
Here is my celebration page. Since I have had such a tough summer I love that my daughter was able to catch this photo of me looking happy and content. I want to celebrate my smile that means that i was happy for that moment.

Have a wonderful wonderful happy day!

TGIF!

We had a delightful friday. I slept in after daughter went of to school, I was off work today. And then I spent the morning just chillin and picking stuff up and things like that. Ah...the good life.
I finally took a photo of myself wearing the ever so cool Live Lightly Tour T-shirt. A wonky photo, but hey it was the best I could do!

When my daughter came home from school I was out in the front garden trimming our bushes, but she couldn´t come to clues on what she was going to do. She was bored! So, we packed up a backpack and went over to the mainland for a mother/daughter date! We had such a fun time. Of course the camera was there to take our traditional silly photos.

I am so happy I have all these photos of us out and about, because it is so important to me to be able to remember all these times we have had together. We always have so much fun and I am blessed with this child! We always say that, that is the reason why we can´t have more kids, we already have the perfect one! :)

We went over to this really cool small very 50s inspired café and had some yummy chocolate cake and toast (not together, but one after the other!).

I love going out with her on little dates. I am planning to take her to a really fancy resturant one day and we will dress up and act all nice :) haha! Maybe even spend a night in a nice hotel with a large bath tub and a big bed which we could jump in :) Ah...I have a dream!

I just realized that I missed to celebrate my 300 post to this blog! What?! This will be my 304th post and since i think that everything should be celebrated I think we should have a party! Are you with me? Hm...what should we do? 300,304 hm...ok i will go with celebration here.

What small thing in your everyday life would you like to celebrate today?

It could be a fun thing that happened at work that blessed your day. Or a gesture that was unexpected. Or a feeling of overwhelmed joy over a small thing. Or an accomplishment by you or someone dear to you. I hope you get the picture!
Do a scrapbooking layout or take a picture or post something on your blog that represent the thing you want to celebrate today! Leave a comment here and then in the end of this weekend I will take a look and draw a winner among the players, who will get a goodiebag from me! Are you game? Celebration time, come on!

just scraps

I had some great photos that I wanted to work with...so i did!

Here I used a sectioned page protector and worked around that.

Hm...since I wrote that post about how "minibook challanged" I am I seem to have made more of them than I have in a long time :) This one is just a quick one about our month of september.

I had to use those silly photos we took yesterday :) The title says: Have fun!

For this last one I used a few of my goodiebag gets from Anna. And a buisness card from the family of Live Lightly Tour. I recieved their T-shirt the other day, but I haven´t yet posed for a pic :)

Ok, if you are still here, check out this life list! Pretty cool, eh. I think I will have to include that in my listography.

annual fall photoshoot :)

Even my daughter said: Mom, this is like a tradition now! And yes, it is every year around this time we go for a fall walk and take silly photos of eachother with the leaves :) Ok, not everyone is silly. My daughter is beautiful in the photos too! The weather is as summer should be sunny and warm. Fall is crazy like that.

I´ll be back tomorrow with some scrappin.

monday

1, I set up a counter on the blog just because I am curious of how many people love me :)

2, The weekend went ok I had a terrible head ache on saturday yuck! But it was ok by the night. Sunday ment alot of food shopping! We always make a huge grocery list every month and then go to the cities on the mainland to shop. Now we have a lot of yummy food!

3, I bought a new fall vest for my daughter and she posed for me this morning before school. I had some time and went inside to print them out and scrap them instantly!

4, Can you belive that it is October 1st already! This summer went super fast. If the weather is ok one day this week I am planning our anual fall photo shoot.

5, Since it is the first of the month that means CJ shipping date in Suziebeezieland. So here is my entry into Missys "Thankful" CJ:

I made my own background paper using words for all the things that i am thankful for. Then circled random things. It was so much fun! You girls will love it!

6, I also made this about my sisters boys 2nd birthday party.

7, And one just for fun!

it is clear

yep, I so made a clear mini book :) It was so much fun and I just kept it simple. But oh my God how do you take a good photo of a clear project?! I used photos, smaller laminator sheets ans som patterned paper scraps. I ran it all through my laminator, punched holes and then embellished. Go make one it is truly very much fun!

I printed some smaller photos from our summer and made a small list of the essentials :) Simple and meaningful to us!

And I had to use some of the great stuff I got from Anna in a goodiebag! She send me all of this :)

And sweet sweet Anilu sent me a sheet of these cutie owls :)

I used some here:

ok I am off to get some food shopping done!

a mini one

i surfed some really cool inspo yesterday. First Ali had some really cool links to alot of mindfulness sites. Among others there was a "52 Tips for Happiness and Productivity" link. There were tips on all from rising early to life plans. Very good read. I especially liked the sentence from the passage about enjoying simple pleasures: " Sprinkle those little pleasures throughout your day." Doesn´t that sound delightful?!

Emma who always make the most fabulous minialbums had a showing on her blog yesterday. If you haven´t seen it, please go and take a look. I have a hardtime with minibooks. I love the feeling of them and I love looking through galleries with them. But I have a hardtime making one. And especially when I can´t finish it all that same day. In general I want to finish a project at once, otherwise i like loose the feeling for it. Anyway, emma inspired me to start on my own minibook! Here is a sneak peek of it, because i am acctually letting this sit before I add journaling and some more umpf!

While going through my older minibooks I found this one that I made as a family alphabet in 2004. I acctually cut all those file folders by hand and i know it is not all that but I remember putting alot of time on it. + those photos are not all here anymore i lost the cd :( so it means a lot for me.

Otherwise i love this one that i made in may. It is a mini mini :)

I also went to Karlas blog and found this ever so cool minibook that she made. Oh it is so yummy! I looked closer on those links of hers and they are also very cool. Maybe these would be great Christmas gifts?
